Terrible bed. Mattresses shaped like a banana. If you didn't have a backache when you arrived, you did when you got in the car home.
Nice hotel for the price
The hotel itself is actually okay if you just want a quick and cheap stay, or if you are young people. But the experience we had was really bad – and the customer service from the staff was even worse. I honestly don't think they know what customer service means. We had booked through Hotels.com for my boyfriend, our daughter and myself. When we arrived late at night, we had therefore booked a room for three people. However, when we entered the room, it was only made up for two people: bed linen for two beds and towels for two people. We therefore decided that my boyfriend and daughter would have to sleep together in the one single bed. The next day I called the hotel, where I almost got hit in the head that I was stupid and that it was me who had not booked for three people – and that it was not their problem. Uh… what the hell? I have it in black and white in my app. I have always learned that the customer is right until proven otherwise. I was completely speechless and told him not to call me stupid. Then I was told that it was Hotels.com's problem. I have since been in contact with Hotels.com several times, and they have also tried to contact the hotel repeatedly. The hotel does not respond to emails, and they have not been accommodating in any way on the phone - not even to Hotels.com in the first place. I really think it is terrible service that you can't just admit your mistake and say: "Sorry, we forgot to prepare for an extra person." But why don't you respond to emails when you are such a big company as DBU? I simply don't understand that.
Clean sauna, tight air and very hot in the room, airing it out doesn't help. We asked for a baby bed. We got it without a mattress, pillow or duvet. I don't know what you were thinking here. Rather pay 300kr extra for a better hotel
