I came with a very good impression of Marriott hotels, especially the one in Bangkok, but arriving at the hotel and waiting more than two hours for the room is not appreciated. The staff are probably unaware of this, and while they are very attentive and provide excellent service, it was more the hotel management's fault. That's why my rating is low.

I stayed here with my family over spring break and it was just ok for what we were using the hotel for. We were just using the hotel as a quick stay for a lay over. Thought we wanted to walk around for a little. The location was fine but we did want to see old town. Now for the bad part the rooms. We booked a suite and it was horrendous. The shower had mold all over and we found some bugs in the bed. There were stains all over the carpet. Even though we didn’t stay for long this place needs some deep cleaning or a renovation.

My experience has been terrible. We arrived today, I tried to order room service at 10:45 PM, and only managed to get through at 11:05 PM, which is absurd. No one was there to assist us. At 11:40 PM, our very simple order (3 Bolognese pasta dishes) hadn't arrived. I spent another 15 minutes trying to communicate and nothing. After 50 minutes, our food arrived and the attendant said he was busy. The service didn't work, and the reception didn't even answer the phone. Impossible, unbelievable, and unacceptable. That was the excuse he gave us. I complained, and we are outraged that we are in a 5-star hotel, paying a very high price, and receiving TERRIBLE service!!!! We are with our 9-year-old daughter who is finishing dinner at almost midnight. All for an order we started trying to place BEFORE 11 PM. ABSURD AND DISRESPECTFUL!
