Great place! We rented a private room with a private bath. Really good location within walking distance to the King's Garden, Nyhavn, and other places. Check in is cool; they have a little kiosk to do it yourself. Elevator is unreliable, so keep that in mind if you may need access to it. Sometimes it took forever or didn't come, and often the door opened and shut so fast that we couldn't even fit our group of three people with luggage on it before it closed again. No button inside to hold the door open. Note that towels of any kind are not provided, you have to pay extra for those. It would be a 5-star review except for the elevator and also they don't allow outside food in. Not sure if this is just in the public areas of the hostels or also in the rooms, but I think the rule's a bit unfair. Especially considering how expensive their food options are.
The first time to visit the hotel that do not cover towel. (requires extra payment) Maybe because of that, there is a lot of stinky smells of human´s feets in the room.
High price and a small room under the roof without air conditioning. A fan is provided. Scrambled eggs with bacon, ordered separately, were made with burnt eggs and bacon.
Room was small but ok. Room service, there was none they never went to the room to make up the beds.
It was very clean. Each bed has its own socket and light. Rooms are spacious. Only thing is each bed had a privacy board at the head, but I feel a curtain would have been better. As the only female in a room of 7 men, I was a little uncomfortable so ended up hanging my towel from bunk above. Staff were friendly and helpful.
My friend booked a private room for 4 people for 2 nights which was confirmed through email and on the phone while informing them of a late check in. When we got there they had said our room was only 1 bed booked, and the only option was paying another $600 to stay in a mixed 8 person room and only for 1 of the 2 nights. While trying to find another place to stay and asking front staff for any recommendations of help they were extremely dismissive and showed no care about 4 young foreign girls having no where to go. The only thing that was said was they did not have room and that the booking error was ours even after showing the confirmation emails and texts.
