About this place Hotel Ansgar

Hotel Ansgar is a welcoming gay hotel located in Copenhagen's vibrant Vesterbro neighbourhood, offering comfortable accommodation in a characterful 18th century building. The hotel combines historic charm with contemporary amenities, providing guests with clean, simple rooms equipped with free WiFi and flat screen satellite TV. A pleasant courtyard provides a pleasant setting for breakfast, allowing you to start your day in a relaxed atmosphere. The location is one of the hotel's strongest assets. Situated just steps away from Copenhagen's main shopping street Strøget and minutes on foot from the Central Station, it puts you within easy reach of the city's major attractions. The surrounding Vesterbro quarter has evolved into a dynamic area filled with independent shops, restaurants, and cultural venues that reflect Copenhagen's creative spirit. For those seeking nightlife, the city's gay venues are within a short walk, and the famous Tivoli Gardens amusement park is also conveniently close by. Whether you're visiting Copenhagen for the first time or returning to explore further, this hotel provides a practical base with genuine hospitality. The combination of accessible pricing, friendly atmosphere, and central location makes it a sensible choice for LGBTQ+ travellers looking to experience Copenhagen's neighbourhoods and social scene without breaking the bank.

If you need to furnish a studio apartment... first spend a day at 101. Small, very small, but optimized. You'll find everything you need there. Even a certain design.

Top location, near Tivoli Gardens and the train station. The city center is just a short walk away. Breakfast offers a wide selection, including gluten-free options and options for those with intolerances. Rooms on the top floor have spectacular views of Tivoli and the city center. Friendly and helpful staff. Compared to other options in the city, the value for money is excellent.

Amazing location, right next to everything!! Staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable only thing is they are a little bit cramped which can’t be helped. Views are great, would highly recommend for the price! 🇩🇰🙌😛
