Unfortunately, I was unable to stay at Mayfair Hotel because I was robbed in another city and lost my phone, passport, and bank cards. As a result, I could not travel to the hotel or contact them in time to cancel the reservation. Afterwards, I provided an official police report and requested a goodwill refund due to these exceptional circumstances. Unfortunately, the request was declined. I understand the hotel has the right to enforce its no-show policy, and I am not blaming anyone. I am simply sharing my genuine experience so future guests know how situations like this may be handled.

Ideally located in Copenhagen, with nearby parking accessible to hotel guests, the room was pleasant and spacious, lacking nothing. The breakfast buffet was breathtaking, offering everything from fresh produce and excellent cheeses to cold cuts, sausages, scrambled eggs, smoked and fresh salmon, a wide selection of jams, various high-quality breads, dairy products, cereals, dried and fresh fruits, not to mention coffees, teas, and fruit juices – a true delight for the eyes and taste buds!

On arrival the decor was stunning and greeted by very friendly and happy staff. For me the service from front of house staff was the winner of this hotel. I will start with positives. Location is excellent walkable to everywhere. Train station few minutes walk, lots of great cafes and shops nearby. Room was airy, spacious and bright. Bathroom toiletries were nice and loved the deep bath and rainfall shower. I also really liked how it was a green hotel. Negatives for me. Room has no phone so to contact reception you need to go down to front desk. The TV has no channels and you need to cast from phone. I had issues with connection so was frustrating. The room has no coffee/ted station which is a must for me anyway. There was jo fridge in room or a safe. These to me are standard and the room had space to accommodate these. Our room faced courtyard and was so noisy from morning to late at night. I found this annoying as woke me early and at night was difficult to sleep. Overall beautiful, clean, funky hotel. Amazing staff, location. Lovely airy room. Green hotel. Let down for me by lack of coffee station, safe, fridge normal TV channels and noise. Great hotel id say more suited to younger clientele. Would not return as not for me, however my negatives are personal choices and nothing awful.
