Self-catering hotel for active travelers. Easy to come and go, e.g. directly to the center of Joensuu in fifteen minutes. Good outdoor terrain. Ski slope right in the backyard. Excellent when traveling with a dog; you could go straight out of the room. Nice, clean sauna, with good steam and it warmed up every evening. The sauna also had a drying cabinet for wet outdoor clothes and a small kiosk with e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. The rooms were clean and really functional! In addition to the TV, the room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee and water kettle, + disposable dishes. If you have a car to use on the trip, it's worth staying here! You can also get there by bus, but the best thing about this small hotel is the feeling of freedom!

Finnish motel, location is nowhere so to speak. The barn accommodation is quite functional but the price is starting to be on the high side compared to what you get. The shower and sauna facilities are functional. If the question is whether the customer will come again, then yes, if the price doesn't go up from here. If it does, I'll go elsewhere. I can't say anything about the service. I got the barn quickly by calling and found the key somewhere. Some signs in and out and although the phone number is clearly visible, that's about it.

Really nicely decorated, clean and bright rooms. Perfect for an occasional business traveler like me. At least the room I stayed in had a nice little kitchen with a fridge. The outdoor activities of Kontiolahti are very close, in winter there is even a ski slope starting from the yard. A good alternative for "scandics" etc.

Self-service hotel, a two-room apartment with a kitchen is available for three people. The place was clean and quiet, a perfect place to spend the night and relieve fatigue. There would have been a sauna, but due to our arrival time we didn't get to enjoy it. Breakfast was not included in the price, but you could get it at Rosalinda nearby for a reasonable price. If there was a need to stay overnight in the area again, I would consider this a good option.

A hotel with no reception at all. You get the key via text message instructions on site. Everything went well. The room was clean and spacious (a triple room). The room had a kitchen where you could cook whatever you wanted. You had to wash the dishes yourself. A good overnight stay for the price. The person managing the hotel can be reached via text message if needed. Of course, that makes for pretty poor contact with the hotel staff, but you don't pay for it. There was also no breakfast at the hotel.
