Hôtel des Quatre Sœurs

We were warmly welcomed by Clémentine, who took such good care of us. She was so kind, thank you Clémentine, I love you!

The hotel is well located with a nice bonus: breakfast is served in the adjoining café... all in a very pleasant atmosphere.

The staff were pleasant, and the welcome was excellent. However, the room itself wasn't worth the advertised 3 stars; it was outdated and could definitely use a refresh and renovation. The breakfast was also no longer of the same quality as it had been during my previous stays.

The hotel is very well located, close to the tram in the city center. The hotel is simply charming; the room I stayed in was very spacious and even had a bathtub ❤️. A great mirror and beautiful grooves—it's true that it's an older hotel, but that's what gives it all its charm. I slept very well. When I stay in a hotel, especially in the city center, I always bring earplugs. When you stay in a hotel in a big city, there's always some noise. However, in this hotel, there was no noise inside the room, no air conditioning or anything else that makes noise. The room temperature was perfect. If the opportunity arises again, I will definitely return to this hotel.

My daughter and I spent four nights at this hotel. Okay, it could use a refresh, but the one or two-star ratings are REALLY ridiculous! Because of reviews like these, I was hesitant to go, but in the end, I wasn't disappointed at all. If you want a luxury hotel or a true three-star, the Intercontinental is right next door 😉

Very comfortable room. However, the shower curtain isn't suitable for the high water pressure 😊🤣.

BED BUGS! Very far from the standards of a 3 star hotel (nothing like with the pictures actually presented on the website). We were provided a defective cot for our infant, with a mattress with cigarette burns on it. The whole room is dated, with dirty carpets and questionable marks in the bath and toilet. Then at 9pm when getting ready for bed we had the delight of seeing a bed bug crawling out from under the pillows. We immediately packed up and left informing the staff at the front desk of why (they did not seem surprised) and also showed them a picture of the bed bug. Since the incident the managers of the hotel claim we are overacting, despite us providing the incriminating picture (why would we leave a hotel with an infant at 9pm?). Their response has been appalling and dismissive. The whole hotel experience was rather traumatic. BEDBUGS! We are very far from a 3 star and the photos shown on the site. We were given a bed for our baby, who couldn't stand up, with a mattress riddled with cigarette burns. The room was shabby, with dirty carpets and stains in the toilet and bathtub. But the highlight of the evening was at 9 pm when we found a bedbug crawling out from under our pillows. That was the last straw. We immediately packed up and left the hotel in a hurry, informing the receptionist (who didn't seem particularly surprised) and showing him a clear picture of the bedbug. Of course, the managers refused to take any responsibility whatsoever—basically, according to them, we had a collective hallucination, which is clearly visible in the photos we managed to take (who would leave a hotel room with a crying baby?). What an outrageous response! And a traumatic experience for us.
