About this place It Bar

It Bar is a small gay club on Montée Saint-Sébastien, at the bottom of the Croix-Rousse slopes, a short walk from the bars on the Presqu'île. It opens only on Friday and Saturday nights, from midnight to 4am, and the music is 80s and early-90s pop: Madonna, Whitney, Prince. The crowd knows exactly what it came for. Opened in 2011, it’s one of the few dedicated gay clubs left in Lyon. Drinks are cheap by city standards. Nothing happens here before midnight, so most people come on after the Presqu'île bars.
