Overall, a good hostel; the rooms and common areas are clean. A minor drawback is the showers: fixed showerhead and no way to adjust the water temperature.

Booked a dorm room for 2 adults and 3 kids. They loved the bunk beds however for tall people like me and my husband rather uncomfortable. Nevertheless the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. We arrived late for breakfast the first morning as we were not aware of the time they terminate the service. The obnoxious attitude of the young lady (eye rolling, sighing) when we politely asked if we could just have some of the left over croissants and coffee unfortunately ruined the positive experience. Maybe hire people who actually know how to treat customers or just has a positive attitude.

A lovely hostel, popular with both young and old people and families, as was our case. It offers private rooms on the top floor and has two spacious elevators. The rooms are beautiful and quaint, with views of the city rooftops. It's near a church that rings its bells every 15 minutes, which can be a bit annoying. The breakfast is quite varied, both sweet and savory, but PLEASE NOTE: the coffee at the counter is not included in the price. The service is quite poor: we arrived and in a room for four there was only one towel (the others were provided upon request at reception). There's no air conditioning (according to them, this is an eco-friendly policy), but at least there's a fan. The sink in the room was completely clogged, the water wouldn't come out. We reported the problem to reception, who installed a drain cleaner in the hope it would work—but they didn't even bother to do a deeper cleaning. The area is convenient for getting around the city on foot. There are several paid parking lots on nearby streets and in the silos in the downtown area

This hostel is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are spotless and the showers and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The whole city is amazing but specifically the area where the hostel is located is beautiful. Be aware though that the rooms get pretty hot at night, I’d bring a personal fan or something of that nature. And if the windows open to let out air, you can hear all the noise downstairs in the bar. It was a Friday but still. Besides that it was good.

We came for brunch, but we'll never be back. €27 to struggle to get a table inside (which we booked a week in advance), having to move our own table to the mezzanine to be able to eat (as instructed by the staff), and having access to a tasteless buffet without spoons or tongs where everyone sticks their fingers in the food to serve themselves—no, that's too much. Nothing is good, everything is mediocre like a cafeteria, not even a water carafe, in short. It's more expensive than some incredible all-you-can-eat brunches in the city that are actually worth it (kudos to the GOATS!) and offer real service. If it had been presented as a "hostel-style buffet" and priced at €18, I would have said cool, but for a €27 brunch that you have to pay for before you even sit down, I don't know who you think you are.

We were refused entry to brunch even though we had a reservation and received confirmation. Not so bad, the buffets were empty and it was packed.

One of the worst hostel experiences I have ever had. The only reason this review is not 1/5 solely because of the friendly reception staff, who were the only bright spot during my stay. Everything else was disappointing. The hostel was dirty and poorly maintained, with dust everywhere. The shower facilities were extremely basic, and some of the equipment was broken. There were no towels, shampoo, or shower gel provided, which is unacceptable for a place charging guests to stay there. The room was unbearably hot and stuffy, making it difficult to get any decent sleep. On top of that, the soundproofing was practically nonexistent—you can hear people talking, walking, and moving around at all hours. Overall, this place feels neglected and far below the standard I would expect from any hostel. There are plenty of better options in Strasbourg. I would strongly advise travelers to avoid this hostel and stay elsewhere. I would not stay here again even if it were significantly cheaper.

went to the restaurant to have a quick lunch and work in the afternoon, had a really juicy and massive burger, proper vibe for work meetings—not too noisy, pretty chill, amazing service (thank you Shella, she is quick on her feet and very helpful), and when the sun is nice, their terrace is perfect.

Comfortable hostel with good sleeping privacy and amenities. Close enough into the city to make everything accessible but without the noise into the evenings. Friendly and helpful staff. Two points to note and potentially improve in the function as a hostel. The lockable storage struggles to take a full sized rucksacks and the lack of obvious hooks external to the bunks to allow for the hanging of towels for drying, clothing and wash bags.
