Rooms Hotel Tbilisi

Very nice vibrant place with its own culture and personal touch. We as family of 5 likes it very much, staying in Tbilisi for 3 nights

This boutique hotel boasts a charming retro design, but it's unpleasantly dark. There's no soundproofing and it smells like sewage. The minibar is inspiring and extensive; for example, you can make your own cocktails from a variety of ingredients (if you're skilled). The hotel doesn't have parking; it's in a shopping center's underground parking lot, meaning they can cancel your parking ticket but can't find you a space. The hotel's service is a problem. For example, the doorman doesn't greet you or open the door. The waiters at breakfast seem to be separated from the guests, and the reception staff is unhelpful and harms the hotel's reputation. For the price they charge for a room, there are better options in Tbilisi.

While the hotel itself is well placed in the center of Tbilisi, with great lounge and balcony (roadside) area, decent rooms and polite stuff, I have had a ridiculous experience with it. Rooms were booked over booking with credit card, upon arrival on 26th of august we were asked to swipe a credit card for the minibar deposit (separate from booking). I used a separate card for this. As per hotel staff mistakenly same day I was charged the full price of our planned stay to this second card (that was never in the booking). We discussed this and I was issued a refund. The fun part begins when we have left the hotel on 29th and I was charged AGAIN on the second card the full price of our stay (that's accumulatively three times) I called the hotel and they have returned to me on whatsapp that they will issue another refund. As of today (one week later) I have received one full refund with no signs of the second one, and zero response from the staff since yesterday. Will contact Georgian Hotel Association and push a legal case next week if not resolved. Tbilisi is fantastic place to visit this time of the year nonetheless. EDIT : Refund landed in about 10 days.

A vintage hotel with its own charms. I was also at their hotel in Kazbegi. Everything was very decent, the food was delicious. Thank you very much 🙏👍
