Hotel Indigo Berlin – Ku'Damm is an 81-room hotel on Hardenbergstraße, right in the thick of things in Ku'Damm.
Opened in 2012, it’s part of the international Indigo chain, which has been expanding globally since 2004. This isn't a luxury spot, nor is it a budget hostel. It's a design-conscious boutique hotel, trying for something contemporary and stylish. They even update the room decor every six months, so it never feels stale.
Prices shift with the season and how busy they are, but generally fall into that mid-range sweet spot. You get good value here without feeling like you're sacrificing character for a better deal.
It's right in Ku'Damm, which means you're a short walk from the gay scene, museums, shops, and places to go out. For LGBTQ+ visitors, it's a solid, welcoming home base that happens to have the backing of a big international brand.

Really nice people who work here. :)
We only stayed one night at the hotel. The rooms are well-equipped. The view was typical of Berlin, so not particularly nice. A coffee machine with pods and two bottles of water in the refrigerator were included. The best thing was the hairdryer in the bathroom. It was really powerful and not one of those cheap travel hairdryers you find in most hotels. Unfortunately, I encountered a silverfish in the morning. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. You could have various egg dishes freshly prepared, as well as choose from pancakes, a vegetarian breakfast, and an indigo breakfast. There was also a generous buffet.
A rather spontaneous stay for two nights. Very well located with Zoo Station in short walking distance. Great breakfast, very helpful, lovely staff. This is the place when you just want a no frills accomodation with everything organized, clean and in its place at a fair price. Can definitively recommend.
We stayed at the hotel for one night. The reception was friendly, and the room was modern and attractively furnished, except for the picture above the bed. The beds were comfortable, and there were two pillows per person (we didn't really need them, but it was a nice touch). The bathroom was lovely. The breakfast selection was perfectly adequate and delicious for us. Pancakes and omelets were available as optional extras. The only downside was that the parking garage discount didn't work. As a result, we paid €22. And once you're already at the pay station, you don't want to walk back to the hotel.
Unprofessional service at the front desk – a call at 11:20 p.m. regarding an allegedly unpaid city tax of approximately €4, even though my credit card was on file at check-in. Premium rooms only face the street. Room furnishings with IKEA-like charm. Breakfast was rather disappointing: machine coffee, pre-baked rolls.
