CSD Freiburg (Pride)

Freiburg Pride is the Christopher Street Day for Germany’s southwest. It’s a demo, then a rally. Christopher Street Day Freiburg e.V. runs it. They’ve kept the current format since 2014.

The crowd forms at Platz der Alten Synagoge. The march cuts through the old town, past the Münster and down Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Speeches, performances, and live music follow. Parties run into the evening. Entry is free for the parade and rally. The route drops on freiburg-pride.de, Instagram, and Facebook (@csdfreiburg) right before the day.

2025 ran on 19 July. The 2026 edition hit on Saturday, 20 June. Assembly was 13:00; the march kicked off at 13:30. The motto: 'resistdäncia – Party, Sahne, Widerstand.' That’s party, cream, resistance. No headcounts from police or organizers for either year. The 2027 date wasn’t announced when we checked.
