CSD Freiburg (Pride)

CSD Freiburg is the Christopher Street Day for Germany's southwestern corner, a demonstration followed by a rally. It is organised by the volunteer association Christopher Street Day Freiburg e.V., which goes by Freiburg Pride and says the CSD has run in its current form since 2014.

People gather at Platz der Alten Synagoge, then march through the old town, traditionally past the Münster and along Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. A rally with speeches, performances and live music follows, and there are pride parties in the evening. The parade and rally are free. The exact route is published shortly before the day on freiburg-pride.de and on Instagram and Facebook at @csdfreiburg.

The 2025 CSD took place on 19 July 2025. The 2026 edition was on Saturday 20 June 2026, with assembly at 13:00 and the march starting at 13:30. Its motto was 'resistdäncia – Party, Sahne, Widerstand' (party, cream, resistance). We couldn't find a police or organiser headcount for either year. The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
