The breakfast buffet is top-notch, and we both haven't slept so well in a hotel bed in a long time, which really says something.

A lovely, somewhat old-fashioned hotel in terms of the rooms, but otherwise everything is excellent!!!

We were a group of seven travelers. The hotel is located right in the heart of the old town, yet quiet, and everything is within walking distance. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. We ate in the restaurant two evenings, and all the food was of very high quality. Thank you for your hospitality.

“Not accommodating” On May 5th at 5:45 PM, I booked a room for one night at this hotel via Booking.com. Within half an hour, I discovered that I had lost a piece of luggage. I called the hotel immediately to explain that, as a result, I had to travel back to the place where my luggage was found, and therefore would not make it to the hotel that evening. They were unable to help me over the phone and referred me in a very unfriendly manner to Booking.com to submit a cancellation request. I did that immediately. Additionally, I emailed the hotel personally, but I never received a response to that email. The hotel rejected the cancellation request and charged the full amount of €127.64. I understand that there are cancellation terms, but in this exceptional situation, I had expected at least some leniency. If necessary, by charging a partial amount. Charging the full price for a room that I could not use due to force majeure is very disappointing to me.
