Anyone who, after attending a home game of the glorious FC Schalke 04 at the neighboring Veltins-Arena, wants to chat with fellow football fans over a refreshing cold drink, analyze the match, or simply unwind after a long day, will find themselves in the perfect place. The consistently exemplary and extremely friendly service practically invites guests to linger and enjoy each other's company. Many a sports expert has been spotted at the bar. At this point, I would especially like to thank Johannes Tüker and his team for their consistently friendly and warm hospitality – with their ever-present willingness to listen to guests, even defeats become secondary. This hotel is ideally located in Gelsenkirchen. Football and events are right on your doorstep. The rooms are modern and spotless, with very comfortable beds. But the best part: the staff always knows how to be friendly and approachable. You wouldn't know they were stressed, especially after the games. Very professional. I'd particularly like to commend Natalia, the fresh face behind the bar, always available to help. Johannes is the heart and soul of the restaurant and bar area. Mo and his colleagues at reception ensure a smooth check-in. All in all, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. 💙💙

The signage for the hotel's own parking garage isn't clear enough; I ended up in the neighboring building, completely unaware of the signs. The reception staff were friendly, but I was immediately informed that they were fully booked for dinner. There was a strong smell of solvents in the upstairs hallway, and unfortunately, the room smelled the same. The bathroom fixtures, including the shower and wooden wardrobe, are outdated, and the air conditioning seems to be broken. Breakfast was adequate, offering the necessary basics. If it weren't for the proximity to the Veltins Arena, I probably wouldn't return.
