Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg

Beautiful hotel. Great service! The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Everyone is very polite, friendly, and helpful without being intrusive.

We were absolutely delighted with the Hotel Atlantic and would return in a heartbeat. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated in shades of lilac. The air conditioning worked perfectly, allowing us to keep the windows facing the street closed at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with two pillows and a thin down comforter. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom had a toilet, a spacious shower, a bathtub, and two sinks. Everything was immaculate and of high quality. Marble sinks, gold fixtures, plenty of mirrors—including a makeup mirror—a hairdryer, and tissues were provided. The soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion from L'Occitane en Provence had a fresh lime scent. Bathrobes, slippers, and plenty of towels were, of course, provided, as were cotton pads, cotton swabs, a nail file, and a shower cap. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a very wide selection and high-quality food. Besides various types of muesli, there were many kinds of rolls, breads, croissants, pastries (apple turnovers, cinnamon rolls, nut rolls, custard pastries, muffins), fruit, yogurts, Actimel, juices, sparkling wine, various coffee specialties and teas, a fantastic cheese platter, raw vegetables, various fish specialties, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, sausages, and much more. It was impossible to try everything, the selection was so vast. The service was just as excellent as the food.
