We wanted to grab a bite to eat before the musical, and since it was my husband's birthday, I reserved a table by the window well in advance. When we arrived, we were barely acknowledged, and when I said I had a reservation, I was asked to provide proof. Honestly, I expect more professionalism from a restaurant of this kind, like having them check a reservation book or something similar, instead of requiring guests to prove they have a reservation. I've never experienced anything like it. The staff member seemed quite bored and simply seated us at a table in the middle of the room. When I mentioned that I had a window reservation, I was told there were no tables available. Overall, the atmosphere was very cold and impersonal, and we didn't feel comfortable at all. None of the staff members had a friendly smile; they all seemed rather bored. There are definitely better restaurants in Hamburg. The reason I'm giving it two stars instead of just one is that the food tasted good. However, when we go to a musical in Hamburg again, we will eat somewhere else where the guest is still noticed and you don't have to prove that you have a reservation.

This was our first time at Skyline Restaurant, and we were absolutely thrilled. The view is simply stunning and made the evening even more special. The food was delicious, the portions were just right, and everything was beautifully presented. The service was also excellent – friendly, attentive, yet not intrusive. We felt comfortable from the very first moment. The ambiance is modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.
