Marlene Bar & Stage is a gay bar on Prinzenstraße in Hannover's city centre, one of the city's long-running queer addresses. The name says what it does: a bar for drinks and conversation, plus a small stage that hosts cabaret, drag and other live acts on show nights. The programme changes, so check marlene-hannover.de for what is on and when the doors open; there are no reliable hours in our data. It is an easy walk from the main station and the Kröpcke area, and on quieter nights it works as a relaxed place to start an evening before moving on.
