I visited Ichiban in Hanover and was unfortunately disappointed. The sushi didn't impress me: the rice was too soft and fell apart easily, while the fish was also very soft and didn't give me the impression of being particularly fresh. The cleanliness of the restrooms also left much to be desired, which didn't exactly improve the overall experience. If you just want to fill your stomach, the restaurant might be acceptable. However, anyone who values quality, freshness, and good-tasting sushi should, in my opinion, eat somewhere else. To be honest, I've had sushi from a discount supermarket that tasted better. Of course, this is just my personal experience.

Not worth it... the food wasn't good enough for the price... the food that was ordered didn't arrive... the food didn't taste good, a lot of money was wasted on rubbish... and the cheap tea bag tea from Aldi felt... disgusting... sorry, never again.

I didn't like the taste at all, especially the sushi. We had to wait a really long time and there wasn't much of a selection. The decor was very nice, though; the staff were friendly and helpful and advised us whenever we didn't know something.

The food tasted like nail polish remover. When I complained, nothing was done – no apology, nothing... What a shame.

The food was okay, but the ambiance was marred by the smell of a toilet, as we were seated right next to it and therefore constantly had a whiff of fresh air coming from that direction. ;) The sushi, vegetables, and other dishes were tasty, but average. The wait was long, and the staff was rather pushy when it came to leaving a positive review. Overall, it was okay, but nothing special.
