Premier Inn Karlsruhe City Am Wasserturm Hotel

Overall it was a good experience, nothing extraordinary, but the rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. More suitable for business trips in my opinion.

The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and a very good location right next to the main train station. Everything is extremely easy to reach from there. The rooms are modern, but I deducted one star for the lack of a cosmetic mirror and paper towel dispensers. Otherwise, it was very clean. The children were very happy. The room had everything you could need, and the service was excellent; they responded quickly to any questions. The bar was open until 1:00 AM. Breakfast was consistently good.

Perfect value for money. Pleasant rooms, comfortable beds, and a dark space. The cot was ready for our little daughter.

Let me explain why I gave it 3 stars: I book at least 50 hotels a year, and I can't accept them adding a 5 euro city tax on top of the "all taxes included" price I confirmed on Booking.com. I never like these petty, calculating places that treat their customers like fools. I generally don't recommend hotels that don't even provide water in the room. Also, there's no phone in the room I'm currently staying in! If I have an emergency, I won't be able to reach reception. Otherwise, I can't say anything bad about the cleanliness and order of the rooms.

Excellent hotel. Everything is new and very clean. The staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
