About this place Havanna Club

The Havanna Club is one of Leipzig's oldest gay bars, open for more than twenty years in the Theaterpassage beneath the Kroch-Hochhaus right on Augustusplatz. It is small, cosy and classic rather than flashy — a neighbourhood bar where regulars and visitors settle in for cheap drinks and long conversations. The bar opens daily from 7pm and runs a well-known happy hour twice a night, from 7 to 8pm and again from midnight to 1am. Its central location in the city's traditional gay core (postcode 04109) makes it an easy stop on a night out, a short walk from the other Zentrum venues. A comfortable bar. Open every day until the early hours. It has delicious beer and a wide selection of drinks. It's a cozy atmosphere for an independent evening. Young people come here in groups. A good place to meet friends. Especially since this is the only bar in this area I've found that's open all night.
