Premieren-Lesung "Triccs" von Marie Verse

We are proud to present Leipzig debut author Marie Verse. On September 11th, we celebrate the premiere of her novel "Triccs." They are sisters, train together four times a week, and play matches on weekends. Their goal seems clear: one day they want to become professional soccer players. But the older one increasingly begins to doubt. Is soccer really everything in life? When she develops increasingly strong feelings for her coach, a game with completely new rules suddenly begins for her. The younger one also falls in love with a teammate but hasn't yet found the language for her desire. Sometimes fast and precise, sometimes thoughtful and tentative, Marie Verse tells of two sisters who were always united by their passion and are now drifting apart. A novel about growing up, letting go, and the longing not to lose one's footing completely.
