Workshop: Developing Conflict Culture — Paths to More Conflict-Resilient Work Practices

Thursday, 17 September 2026 · 10:00 – 16:30 planlos-leipzig.org, Leipzig, Germany

About the event

Part of the workshop series "Strengthened Through Crisis" 🍽️ ✨– a cooperation between Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie e.V. and Konfliktpotential! For everyone who is active in associations, initiatives, projects or organizations and wants to constructively shape social challenges 💬

What is it about? Many people involved in civil society permanently experience a sense of great urgency in their work: we have to act now, organize, react. This constant crisis mode often leads to many things falling by the wayside: conflicts remain unspoken, people withdraw exhausted, and despite great commitment, there is a feeling of achieving little. At some point, the question arises: Why am I actually doing this to myself? These dynamics are not individual failures but an expression of a work culture that has shaped many of us. In the workshop, we will deal with the tension between task orientation and relationship orientation and ask how a constructive approach to it can look. Because civil society work needs both: clarity about goals and responsibilities – and at the same time trust, stable relationships, and the ability to resolve conflicts productively. Together, we will work on concrete conflicts and deadlocked situations from your everyday work.
