Beautiful sauna – rustic, authentic, and welcoming! Great wooden building, fair prices, and a natural outdoor area. Thank you for the wonderful sauna experience!
I don't understand the reviews here. Yes, the floors and showers are old, but where else can you find a sauna in the woods where you can cool off in an unheated outdoor pool surrounded by nature? It was really lovely in the snow. Plus, it's nowhere near as crowded as other saunas. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, thanks in no small part to the lovely lady who works there on Tuesdays. I had some very pleasant conversations and left feeling completely relaxed. No tile trauma whatsoever!
The sauna isn't modern, nor is it what you'd expect from a new spa hotel. But its charm and atmosphere are unbeatable. It was built to last. I love that it defies current trends. I've tried all the saunas in the area, but this is the one where I can truly unwind. You feel at home, not like a guest, probably precisely because everything isn't perfect and the owner does what he thinks is right.
I find the sauna's original, old-world charm perfectly suited to the surrounding forest. A peaceful atmosphere, no fancy dance infusions, just a warm, welcoming ambiance, friendly and very attentive staff with simple coffee/tea and cake. It's a forest sauna, not some snobbish spa. In light of current sustainability concerns, it's very fitting that the sauna remains as it is. Thank you for that!
Hidden in the woods, yet right in the heart of the city, lies a cozy sauna that feels like a mini-escape from everyday life. Designed in Finnish style, far removed from the hustle and bustle, it invites you to switch off and simply be. Two enchanting saunas await you – each a haven of peace and tranquility. Every half hour, the experience is enhanced by a new, soothing fragrance, poured onto the hot sauna stove with a ladle of water and gently diffused throughout the room. You'll be accompanied by incredibly warm and attentive staff, making this place even more special. Between sauna sessions, you can relax in front of the open fireplace with a hot tea or the highly recommended sea buckthorn buttermilk, read a book, and let your thoughts wander. The comforting warmth, the gentle crackling of the fire, and the relaxed atmosphere make time seem to stand still. For the perfect refreshment, take a dip in the ice-cold pool right after your sauna session – invigorating, clear, and wonderfully contrasting. In my opinion, this place is definitely worth a visit – a little piece of Finland that warms the heart and soul. Thank you so much! ✨
Hello, I was in the sauna on Sunday. I've known the sauna for 30 years and was hoping it had been modernized. Unfortunately, not so. The entire furnishings are old and run down. Nothing has been modernized in years. I won't be visiting the sauna again.
Great little forest sauna, very simple and rustic.
