diversity München

diversity München e.V. is the city's long-running LGBTIAQ* youth organisation, going since 1993 and these days based at a youth centre on Blumenstraße in the Altstadt, just east of the Gärtnerplatz quarter.

It is not a bar or a club — it is a community anchor. The group runs a youth café, peer support and coming-out groups, counselling, workshops and regular social evenings for queer young people across Munich, alongside campaigning and education work in schools and the wider city.

For younger LGBTQ+ visitors, or anyone who wants to plug into Munich's organised queer community rather than just its nightlife, diversity is one of the first doors worth knocking on. Check their site for current opening times and event listings before dropping by.
