Christopher Street Day Nuremberg
About This Event
CSD Nürnberg Pride, Nuremberg's Christopher Street Day, hit its 25th anniversary in 2024. Since then, turnout has spiked: 12,500 in 2024, 17,500 in 2025, and over 20,000 in 2026.
It's not a one-day affair - Pride Weeks stretch for about two and a half weeks from late July, packing in over 80 events before the main weekend in early August. On the Saturday, the demo kicks off from Prinzregentenufer late morning, crosses the old town, and wraps up at Kornmarkt in the early afternoon, where a street festival with a stage runs till late. In 2026, more than 60 groups marched, and the city's mayor joined them.
The 2026 edition ran from 22 July to 9 August, with the parade on 8 August, under the motto "Nürnberg liebt". After the Berlin Pride attack in July 2026, organisers tightened security with the city and police, but went ahead as planned. As of our check, 2027 dates hadn't been announced.
