I was able to stay at the hostel for a short study trip. The rooms are in good condition and—as the hostel proudly advertises on its website—furnished in a rustic, railway-container style. Booking was quick and easy. There's no need to communicate with anyone in person. Booking through the hostel website, the key box, and the key code sent via SMS all work quite discreetly and anonymously. However, if you do happen to lock yourself out, you can still get help quickly. I only have three criticisms: 1. Please, please, please remove the creepy mannequin dressed as a train conductor from the hallway. Whether entering the hostel at night or during the day, both my fellow students and I were startled every time. This mannequin contributes neither to the "train station vibe" nor the atmosphere. It's simply creepy. 2. There's a small bar of soap in a plastic wrapper on the bed. This plastic package is identical in shape and size to those Biscoff caramel biscuits you get for free with a coffee at the bakery. When I entered the room, I was delighted to find what I thought was a caramel biscuit on the bed. My good mood vanished when I eagerly unwrapped it and realized it was soap, not a biscuit. (Perhaps you could include one of these biscuits next time? 🥹👉👈) That would be great. 3. The water pressure in the shower, even at maximum, is a bit weak for my liking. Furthermore, the shower can't be closed. It's always open on one side, so you can easily get everything wet if you're not careful. By the way, you can still book a room up to two weeks in advance. You receive the booking confirmation quite quickly. All in all, a pleasant experience (except for the scary doll in the hallway).

Cool and creatively furnished... but the mattresses are very hard... the pillow isn't nice and the duvet is too thin for this time of year. The cleaning lady also needs new glasses... tidy, yes, but not clean, and I'm particularly picky about that in the bathroom.

Centrally located hostel for short stays. We had a family room with a bunk bed and a single bed. It included a TV and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Towels, soap, and shower gel were provided. Check-in is done online via email. There's a snack and coffee machine. We have no complaints.

A great, nostalgic place to stay. Bookings and inquiries were handled in a friendly and helpful manner. We were there for a family celebration in my hometown. The rooms are functional, clean, and tidy, equipped with towels and linens, unlike other hostels. Each room has its own bathroom, making it perfect for a short trip. The location is ideal for travelers or those passing through. Parking is right outside, and there's a small breakfast room with a coffee machine. If you need more comfort or service, or want breakfast on-site, you'll have to book a hotel. We all felt very comfortable (including 5 children and 6 adults). We'd love to come back! 🍀
