The hotel is in a great location, close to the highway and the center of Malia, where you can find various restaurants. The room was nice, with a sea and pool view. The pool was really beautiful, with a stunning sunset view. The hotel restaurant was nice for both food and drinks. The breakfast was good (both sweet and savory), nothing too exciting. The only two flaws in my opinion: 1. The opaque "glass" bathroom door didn't close properly (it wasn't defective, it was just designed that way) -> anyone in the room could hear everything that was going on in the bathroom. 2. The room was a bit so-so: I found a dead mosquito squashed on the wall, spiders on the ceiling, and an earthworm crawled under the front door (it's understandable, we were in the middle of nature... but it's still strange that something could crawl under the door). Even the sheets had a few stains here and there. Overall, I had a good time, and the pool made me forget everything else.
Super beautiful, clean, and very friendly people who help you with anything if you ask. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but it is very doable by scooter and also convenient in the evenings. And for visiting places in the neighborhood. Highly recommended, best regards
George and the entire staff of Notos Heights Hotel were the most amazing, helpful and kind people we have ever met on any trip! We were very kindly welcomed, both at the reception and at the pool. The staff was always friendly, showing genuine interest and giving tips about where to go and what to do. When we fell victim to a car crash, the people of the Hotel rushed to our side to help and support us in any way they could. We were so impressed by their kindness and helpfulness, we recommend Notos Heights Hotel to absolutely everyone! The rooms are clean and bright. The food is absolutely delicious. The pool is beautiful and the view from the pool restaurant is absolutely breathtaking!
The hotel is fine. It is cleaned every day. Friendly staff. However, the food is served so quickly that you don't even get a chance to taste it. The main course is already on the table by the time the starter is served. Definitely a no-go as a restaurant. The music could also be a bit quieter. Fortunately, the old city center offers plenty of choice for delicious food and a good experience of Greek cuisine.
