Late March, is the off-season the problem? The water shortage just won't go away. This is the third time today alone. I came back after dinner and have to go to sleep without even being able to wash up. I'm currently washing with bottled water (bought with my own money). The rust is unbelievable; yellow water is gushing out. It's the worst except for the view. Since it's raining, water is dripping from the bathroom ceiling. I actually feel like I should be receiving compensation for damages.

Would not recommend. So dirty and small. So gross

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista Suites. From the warm and helpful hotel manager to the breathtaking views of the Santorini coast (especially at sunset!), the stay was like a peaceful oasis. A big plus was the daily breakfast in bed included with the hotel. We’d highly recommend!

The view is great — because you can never find an unpleasant view from Santorini — but the room wasn’t as good as described in pictures. The service and the breakfast are of high quality for sure.

lovely views and great location. lots of restaurants and shops located nearby. the included breakfast is good but more importantly the view from your bistro table makes it all worth it. if you leave as early as we did (around 830), you will not be able to have the included breakfast so keep that in mind. though it may be called honeymoon suites (and this fact is repeated/advertised multiple times), be prepared to be surrounded by children splashing in the pool and taking up a lot of the small shared space. it is not really relaxing nor fitting for what the vibe is described to be. i would actually argue that if a place has the descriptor of being 5 honeymoon suites with only king beds, i would assume it is for adults. i want to recognize that this was our assumption and our fault for thinking that, but i do think people should be warned who may want to come here on their honeymoon like we did or on a romantic vacation to relax. i also want to note that this isn’t the family’s fault at all, just something to consider.

The view is a perfect 100, everything else is a 0. I was given a sheet of paper the day before to check off breakfast, but everything was missing. The room was dirty. There were no staff members present. Guests in other rooms asked me where the staff were. It was cold in early October, so I couldn't swim anyway. I wondered why there were no beach towels, but looking at the reviews below, they cost 5 euros.

Located at the entrance of Fira, the hotel sits on high ground. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the heating and cooling work well. It is situated away from the busy streets, so there is no noise. The bed covers were slightly soiled, and there were small ants crawling around. There were no bedbugs. One inconvenience I experienced upon arrival was that there was no check-in information provided until we arrived at the accommodation at 4 PM. The phone number they listed on Agoda was incorrect, so we had to find their contact information via Google. When we called, they told us that since it was 4 PM, the reception had already closed and they would send us a QR code so we could watch a video to find our room. Thanks to the maze-like layout, we got a great workout wandering around with heavy suitcases. Only one towel is provided per person per day. If you plan to go swimming, please bring an extra towel. We were able to get one after giving a 5 Euro tip. The breakfast portions are small, so choose a menu with plenty of items.

The hotel has an incredible location overlooking the caldera, and the views of Santorini's beautiful sunsets are amazing. The breakfast was also very good and plentiful. The only thing to note is that the room we had wasn't perfectly clean, as there were ants and the bedspread was dirty, but the views were worth it.

The apartment is large and very comfortable. The people are very friendly and suggest the best places to go. And the location is spectacular! I've never in my life seen such a beautiful landscape and sunsets; it's breathtaking!
