Nikos Hotel

excellent location, very clean and comfortable rooms

It is an excellent hotel where one can enjoy their holidays in Santorini. It is in the center of the island In the best location next to Fira In front of the hotel there is a bus stop that you can go everywhere. The staff helped us by making us a reservation for dinner at a very good restaurant in Santorini. The cleanliness was impeccable, the rooms were large, we did not go to the pool because we did not have time but we saw that it was cleaned thoroughly every day. Nice breakfast with several choices.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. The room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the room showed real care. The staff truly set this hotel apart. Every team member went above and beyond offering great recommendations, helping with transportation, and always greeting us with a smile. Service felt personal, never forced. The location was ideal: peaceful yet close enough to restaurants, shops, and iconic Santorini spots. Whether relaxing by the pool or exploring the island, this hotel was the perfect base. If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable stay in Santorini, I couldn’t recommend this place more. We’re already planning our return!

I went to the Nikos hotel the first week of October. It was NOTHING like the photos on the website. There were ripped fake leather couches in the lobby, and the rooms were very small with thin mattresses, broken furniture, and very small bathrooms. It was unsuitable for my friends and I to stay there for our 3 days in Santorini. Other reviewers said it was walkable to the town of Fira. We didn't see that. The hotel only had a small shop across the street and we would have had to jump on a bus to get to Fira. When we saw the rooms, we scrambled and booked another hotel in Imerovigli called Langas Villas which was lovely! I highly recommend THAT hotel. It was more like a bed and breakfast owned by a lovely couple that took care of us during our stay. When we got back, we worked with our travel agent through Travelodeal (I also don't recommend them) and did not receive money back. We also received nothing from Nikos Hotel even though they said they would at least return the taxes. When I tried to call, the man was very rude, told me to call back, then didn't answer. I am uploading photos so you can see for yourself. This is more of a backpacker cheap hotel that you would stay for one night and then move on. It's not suitable for people going on a vacation.

The surrounding environment was excellent, but upon checking in, I found the room facilities to be very basic. The worst part was that the bathroom had no hot water for showering. Even after contacting the front desk, there was no improvement. Not worth four stars.

The room was a bit small, but otherwise it was okay.

I gave 3 stars for the rooms because we ended up in a room with an unacceptable mattress—it was like concrete! It's a shame the manager doesn't take care of the establishment. It's very well located, just 2 minutes from the airport thanks to the bus stop, barely 10 minutes away. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the staff is very qualified. Hélène speaks French, and Nikos and Nikos are very qualified. The on-site quad bike rental is inexpensive. The manager needs to wake up and give the hotel a facelift and buy some mattresses. Thank you. P.S. We were moved to a different room; the other one was spotless. Hélène, you deserve to work in a more modern environment; you're a great employee. Breakfast was very good, and the chambermaid was very kind and spotless.

Perfect for a night in a standard room. We had access to the room in the morning, we were well received and there is even a quad rental service on site! Very convenient and reasonable price. Thanks Nikos :)
