Valsamo Suites Santorini

We had a wonderful four-day stay in a charming, beautifully decorated suite that was very cool and had a jacuzzi and private terrace. Lygeri is a delightful hostess who went above and beyond to make our stay even more wonderful. She arranged a catamaran cruise for us, a car at an unbeatable price, and all our requests were resolved within fifteen minutes. The young man Toni, who ensures everything runs smoothly, is also very kind and charming.

The suite was stunning — panoramic sea views, and the private hot tub on the balcony at sunset was an absolute highlight. The 18th-century bell tower of Saint Dimitrios right next door gave the stay a truly magical feel. What set Valsamo apart was the people. Irene went above and beyond from the start, with winery recommendations, coordinating transportation, and always responsive. Tony cheerfully hauled our luggage up and down the hill, and Agapi kept everything spotless with a smile. The whole team made us feel genuinely cared for. We’re already planning to come back. Book here for any trip to Santorini — you won’t regret it.

Amazing place. We stayed for 2 nights in the Honeymoon suite and it was breathtaking. The views are out of the world. All this was nothing compared to the service offered by Irene. Better not to stay in the crowed places like Oia or Fira. The village of Pyrgos is as beautiful as the others. Breakfast was great at Penelope’s.

Amazing suites! The rooms were styled with authenticity and care, everything was perfectly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. This place is a real gem as the central location of Pyrgos is ideal for visiting the whole island. It was very refreshing to be able to avoid the tourist crowds and live a more authentic greek experience. Enjoying the beautiful view from our jacuzzi was one of our most cherished parts of the trip! We were warmly welcomed by Irene and Tony at Brusco Café after our late-night airport shuttle arrival (our flight landed just after midnight). Tony kindly carried both our suitcases upstairs without any fuss, while Irene gave us a quick tour of the suite and assured us we could reach her anytime via WhatsApp if we needed anything. When we asked for ideas on what to do the next morning, Irene shared some fantastic suggestions that really helped us make the most of our stay. Later, I happened to see the bellboy again and asked if there was a wine opener available — he brought one to our room within minutes. The hot tub was perfectly set at 36°C, and the beds were an easy 10/10 for comfort. Irene also offered to arrange taxis or shuttles for us whenever needed. That said, I’d recommend hiring a car — Valsamo sits around 300m above sea level, and the walk back up after six wines at Estate Argyros was… memorable! (Oia, up north, is about a 30-minute drive.) The complimentary breakfast at Penelope’s each morning was excellent — the omelette is definitely the go-to. At checkout, Irene came by personally to say goodbye and even offered us a late checkout until noon since our flight was later in the day. Again, Tony carried our suitcases down for us. Overall, our stay was seamless and genuinely enjoyable — excellent hospitality from start to finish!
