I had a great stay at The RentRooms Thessaloniki. The hostel was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to provide recommendations about the city. The breakfasts were excellent, with fresh and tasty options every morning, and the beds were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The location is one of the biggest advantages of this place. It is right in the city center, close to public transport stops and with convenient access to the airport. This makes it a perfect choice for travelers looking for an affordable and comfortable base to explore Thessaloniki and Greece. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, great service, and excellent value for money makes this hostel stand out. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thessaloniki.

I had a wonderful stay in this hostel in Thessaloniki. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city and surrounded by history, cafes, restaurants, and all the main attractions within walking distance. The hostel was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. The atmosphere was friendly, and the guests were respectful and welcoming. What made my stay truly special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and always greeted guests with a smile. A special thanks to Kyriaki and Diana, who went above and beyond to help me during my stay. Their positive attitude, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made me feel at home. I would also like to thank the rest of the team for their friendliness and excellent service. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Thessaloniki. I would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located and convenient. It has a small balcony with a table and two chairs. I find it very nice.

An inexpensive hostel/hotel right in the midst of historic Thessaloniki. A very nice breakfast.

I rented a dorm room here. I had an overall negative experience as the room did not have working lockers, and no lock for the bathroom and shower. One of the guests walked into the shower while I was naked which was a very unpleasant experience. At checkout, I asked for compensation mentioning the notes above. However they were at first reluctant on giving it - only offering me free breakfast - luckily I did not book via Hostelworld and could still negotiate a 5 euro discount (total = 15 euros). The manager asked me to not leave a low rating and review which I found quite unprofessional, as reviews should be honest and open for negative experiences. To end with positivity: the location is very nice and they have a garden cafe overlooking the Rotonda in the shade (which is however open to the public, but not an issue in my opinion).
