Bed & Beers Inn Budapest

The apartment is very large, clean, and modern. We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, cleaning cloths, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, and laundry detergent were not provided. There's a DM drugstore and a Spar supermarket right outside, and the city center is a short walk away. The location is therefore perfect. Unfortunately, the apartment is quite noisy due to the pub directly below, so we couldn't really get to sleep until closing time around 3:00 AM.

The name sounds like a fun experience in Budapest-bed and beer.Actually what happened is I paid a room, but didn`t receive instructions how to enter or a contact phone.Thought-ok this is ''the first beer and bed hotel in the world'' so I will go register at the reception and enter my room.Arrived after a long trip, it was raining and I was eager and in a hurry to go and have rest in my room.First surprise was this was not a hotel but on the outside looking like a small rundown hut.Second was that I could not find anybody to tell me how to enter the locked doors including the guys from the empty restaurant that looked like part of the same complex.Nobody was there except the two waiters who looked me with interest-a stranger going back and forth in the rain in front of a locked door.Dialed the contact number appearing in google several times but no one answered.At this point was clear for me I need to look for another place if not want to spend the rest of the day and maybe night outside in the rain since average response time on airbnb is reported as 4 hours.I wrote to the propriator-look I had a bad experience, please return me the money and we forget about this nonsense.In three hours he answered he cannot be sure if I didn`t actually stay in the place and even if I didn`t it was my fault that I couldnt enter so he cannot refund.In the end he said the contact phone that appears when you google this place ending 55 is not actually the phone of Bed and beer but some fictitious number I made up and has nothing to do with their ''hotel''.In other words instead of apologizing he was trying to gaslight me in every possible way to justify refund refusal.I would recommend everyone to give 10 euro more and book a room in the nearby Thomas hotel or somewhere else.I couldn`t enter inside but on the outside the place looked like potato bags depot or warehouse not as a place to stay.
