Leo Boutique Rooms - Adults Only

The location is super central. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage was available. The design is lovely, and there's a great old elevator. Two things were only so-so: The soundproofing was poor; you could hear everything around you. But earplugs solved the problem for us. Unfortunately, it wasn't spotless. The remote control and air conditioning controls were sticky when we arrived. Furthermore, the nightstands and side table in the room were sticky with bottle rings and spilled drinks from the previous guests. We were tired from our journey and cleaned it ourselves. Apart from that, we would definitely come back. 👍

If I return to Budapest, I'd definitely choose it again! Very convenient, in a beautiful neighborhood, the staff were super friendly, and the room, although small, had all the amenities. Excellent value for money.

Great location, but the "boutique" concept doesn't quite live up to expectations. I chose this accommodation because of its central location and promising name. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet my expectations for a "boutique room." Here are my impressions: Accommodation & Ambiance * Location: The location is excellent and definitely the biggest plus of the accommodation. * The Building: The name "Boutique Rooms" is somewhat misleading. These are rooms in an old apartment building. The stairwell was only sparsely lit, and I found the interactions with the other residents rather cold, which created a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere overall. * Service: There is no 24-hour reception, and no direct contact persons in the building itself. After 9:00 p.m., you are referred to another hotel, which lacks the typical hotel feel. The Room * Cleanliness: On the positive side, the room was clean upon my arrival. * Sleeping comfort & acoustics: The mattress was extremely hard, which severely limited my sleeping comfort. The house is also very poorly soundproofed; you can hear almost every noise from the neighboring rooms. However, you can't hear street noise. * Bathroom: The bathroom was unfortunately very small and dark. A persistent, strong odor was particularly unpleasant and significantly detracted from my stay. Food: Breakfast is offered at an external location. Unfortunately, the selection and quality there did not meet my personal expectations. Conclusion: If you're simply looking for clean accommodation in a great location and service and ambiance are less important to you, you might be satisfied here. However, for what I expect from a "boutique" hotel, it lacked the comfort and atmosphere.

The room was very spacious; we were especially impressed by the high ceilings. It was very well located for most places; we were literally 20 minutes from everything we wanted to visit. Our only complaint was that the double beds, at least ours, seemed small, and the pillows weren't to our liking (this is just a personal preference). The service was very friendly.

I booked the single room for one person and it exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable, a nice bathroom, and best of all, the view of the city. Highly recommended!

A spectacular stay. The location is unbeatable: you're right in the city center with a metro line right outside, but the room is incredibly quiet; you can't hear a thing from outside. What I would highlight most is the impeccable cleanliness and the perfect temperature they maintain in the room, something that is greatly appreciated upon arrival. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the welcome champagne was a fantastic touch. In addition, the Wi-Fi works perfectly. We had a small problem with the electronic lock, and the two young women at reception resolved it very quickly and kindly. A place to definitely return to!

I loved everything about my stay here! The staff was super nice. The location is absolutely amazing, everything touristy was less than 20 mins away. The rooms are modern, not extremely big but very nice and clean. The elevator might be a bit confusing to navigate but after the first time there isn't much of a problem. I got a great price deal, so it was extremely worth it, leading on the cheaper side which was very hard to believe but 100% real! I recommend this to everyone.

I had a very disappointing experience regarding a prepaid 1-night stay handle. Due to a change in plans, I called the hotel on the day of arrival to see if I could move the date. While I understood their refusal to cancel or reschedule on short notice, their lack of flexibility what shocked me. Since the room was already paid for, I asked them kindly to simply update the guest name so a friend could use the stay instead. The hotel refused, claiming that because the booking was made through Booking.com, they 'could not accept any changes’ and I should speak to booking.com. However, after speaking with Booking.com customer service, they confirmed there is no such policy on their end and that the hotel has the authority to update guest names if they wish so. After calling back the hotel, the receptionist informed me her manager refuse any changes, including allowing someone else to use the prepaid room. For me this was unreasonable, simply not flexible at all. I requested a call from the manager to find a solution, but I never received one after 3 days. Although the receptionist was kind and polite, while following only rules that was set by the manager. It is incredibly poor service to refuse a simple name update for a stay that is already paid in full, especially that there are no legal or regulatory reasons for this—simply a lack of will to help and vision to cheat a guest. I would NOT recommend this hotel due to this rigid, unhelpful management.

Had a really great stay here, Was quite hard to find the actual hotel however the rooms were brilliant, clean and the staff were very helpful and kind.
