LINQ Ireland

LINQ Ireland began life in 1999 as LINC - Lesbians in Cork - and rebranded in May 2025 to reflect what it had already become: a national organisation advocating for lesbian, bisexual and queer women, inclusive of trans and non-binary people. Its base remains the centre at 11A White Street in Cork city, making it one of the longest-running organisations of its kind in Ireland. The centre offers a drop-in space, support services, counselling referrals, social groups and community education, with programmes for older women, younger women and parents alongside health and wellbeing initiatives developed specifically for LBQ women. LINQ works in partnership with Gay Project and the Sexual Health Centre, and is closely involved in Cork Pride - its Rainbow Lunch is a fixture of the festival week. For women and non-binary visitors, LINQ is the best way to plug into a Cork scene that does not always revolve around nightlife: check its calendar for events, workshops and meetups running throughout the year.
