About this place Tang (Abbey Street)

Tang on Lower Abbey Street is a casual, cheap cafe on the north side of central Dublin, close to O'Connell Street and the Abbey Theatre. It's a mainstream gay-friendly place, not a gay venue. It has a 4.8 rating from more than 1,400 Google reviews. It's best for breakfast or a quick lunch. Seating is limited, so expect a short wait at midday. Dublin's main gay bars, around George's Street and Capel Street, are within walking distance.

Food is gorgeous and the gluten free bread (which they make themselves) is the best I’ve had in the city!!

We ordered a Middle Eastern Chicken flatbread and a Half meat / half veggie flatbread with Carrots, Cabbage, Pickle, Spicey Salsa, Tzatziki and Tahini and they were delicious. I'm planning my next visit

The food (pancakes) was absolutely delicious. We especially liked that they weren't too sweet. This provided a nice contrast to the fruit and chocolate. The service was also excellent.
