Woodfield House Hotel

Great spot for a pint and food. I’ve been coming for years and the new bar is great. Would recommend the chicken burger 👌🏻

The price is definitely too high for the room. Our room had a "view" of an air conditioner, but not ours because the room was very hot, and we had to sleep with the window open and the noise of the fans. Upon our arrival, we found hair from the previous guest in the bathtub drain. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom; in the morning, we found ourselves without paper. Around 8:00 a.m., we were awakened by continuous, very loud banging that continued for hours every 1 or 2 minutes, making it impossible to stay asleep. I do not recommend this "hotel."

Excellent staff, great place on match day

Myself, my partner, our child and my friend he’s partner and child, (both babies in buggies) went for food here today (25th May) as we often do and never had an issue until today, firstly we were refused to eat inside because we had buggies, then when we asked for chicken curry no veg we were told we don’t do that it’s not the Chinese, my partner explained she has often got it here before and never had an issue the server replied with ok so it will take longer, my partner said that wasn’t a problem, he also said ye try working in this heat. I order a burger with no sauce or salad just cheese & bacon when I received my order it had sauce I called my server and waved to get his attention when he approached our table he told me don’t click my fingers at him, corrected my order and very quickly blamed the chef for the wrong order. Over all as people who would eat here 20 times in a year I’m devastated and discussed at how we were treated today. The server was in a shirt and suit pants I would presume he was a floor manager or some kind of manger, we have never had any issue with any server or manager(Donna) before until today. Very disappointed
