Bari Pride

Bari Pride is the city's LGBTQIA+ march, run by a coordinating group of local associations (the Coordinamento Bari Pride). It takes up one Saturday afternoon in June. People gather in Piazza Umberto I from about 3pm, the parade leaves at 4pm and goes through the streets of the Murattiano centre, and the day ends with a DJ set.

The 2026 march was on 13 June under a slogan in Barese dialect, "Da ddo ama partì" ("this is where we have to start from"). The organisers said it was about southern pride and about treating Pride as a starting point for political demands. According to the organisers, about 6,000 people marched, as reported by Quotidiano di Puglia and Telenorba. That is down from the 2023 edition, when the organisers claimed at least 10,000 and marked twenty years of Pride in Puglia. The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
