About this place Arcigay Genova

Arcigay Genova is the local branch of Arcigay, Italy's largest national LGBTQ+ association. It is based at Via del Lagaccio 92R in Genoa. It runs community and support services, health and HIV-prevention activities, social groups and events, and it is one of the main organisers of Liguria Pride, held in Genoa in early summer. For a visitor, it is the most reliable first contact for finding out what is happening locally, since Genoa's gay scene is small and venues change. Check the website or social channels for opening times before you visit, because the office is staffed by volunteers and doesn't keep shop hours.

The associations that are supposed to protect and represent the interests of the LGBT community. Since September, I've reported to both them and Arcigay Imperia a homophobic cleric who had solicited me. They both pretended nothing had happened. Congratulations You're just here for visibility: I've never felt protected by these associations; quite the opposite, in fact. It's a false and hypocritical world.

The association and the staff are wonderful. Honored to meet them, the association is very close to the main station, very easy to find.
