Excellent hotel, we loved it!

What a magical place right in the heart of the beautiful city of Genoa – super close to Brignole train station. The welcome was incredibly warm, and the first ride in the antique elevator was quite an experience. We had an Executive Room – a great size, with a beautiful separate dressing room and a large bathroom. The pictures didn't exaggerate at all! The furnishings were high-quality and spotlessly clean – the towels were changed daily, and the bed linens several times a week. Of course, not the most eco-friendly option, but every day we felt like we were coming home to our own little paradise! We absolutely loved it! The windows are quite soundproof, and the traffic outside isn't at all bothersome. We slept incredibly well! The mattresses are also very comfortable! The breakfast was also fantastic – fresh fruit, delicious scrambled eggs, bacon, a variety of cheeses, yogurt in glass jars, great focaccia, typical sweet treats, tasty cappuccino, and, of course, a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice every morning – simply wonderful all around! ... In the evenings, you could enjoy a drink from the bar in a small outdoor patio! All the staff were very friendly – ​​even the chambermaids always had a smile on their faces! It was a shame we had to go home after 5 nights… I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! Off to Genoa – a very interesting, vibrant, culturally rich, culinary, and beautiful city where you can still find the real Italy! Grazie mille!!!

We are a group of 10 that have travelled across Europe over a number of years staying at some lovely hotels but we were all in agreement that this one was special. It started well before arrival with excellent WhatsApp support from Aleksandra, Federica, Alessio and Simone (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone). They sorted restaurant reservations when a couple didn't respond and made the whole booking process simple. When we arrived we just knew we were in good hands. One of our group uses a wheelchair and if he returned to the hotel with just his wife they were very quick to help. Other reviews have described the lift but we can add it is also good for wheelchairs and people that suffer from acrophobia 🙂. We used the bar at night on a couple of evenings and they stock some great local beers. Everything from the bathroom toiletries, to bed linen to the quality of breakfast everything was 5 stars. A gem of a hotel and the above team really make it special.

Great hotel. Air-conditioned. Very clean. The rooms are large and spacious. Excellent windows. (It's a bit noisy with the window open.) Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and excellent cappuccino. One small drawback: The pillows aren't comfortable, but everything else is great.

The best hotel I’ve been to recently. Really loved it! We booked through booking for 4 people and the app was acting weird saying we had booked only one room. A negative thing is that we tried to contact the hotel via whatsapp and they did not answer me at all and a bot kept answering my dad nonsense. However when I called them everything went well and they explained to me we had a double room, so two rooms separated by one door. When we arrived we were surprised! First, staff was super attentive. They have an old elevator, that has 2 doors to open so we can get inside, super cool. Our rooms were SO big, we were amazed. My parents stayed in the bigger one that had even an extra bed besides their bed. Our beds were HUGE they could fit 3 people or more it was soooo good. Bathroom was also amazing, perfect shower and they replaced the shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer and shower gel daily, which is even a little extra. My bf and mine’s tv remote controller wasn’t working properly but as soon as I complained they solved the problem bringing us a new one. TV was new and connected to the internet, we watch youtube from our phones on it. Everything here was wonderful, it was also super well located, we walked everywhere, just having to take the bus to Boccadasse.

We've only been here a few hours, but it definitely deserves a great review. We've stayed at a lot of hotels, but this one is definitely the best for its location, amenities, cleanliness, and friendliness. Every detail is taken care of. It's close to Brignole station and a stone's throw from the city center. This is the best money you'll ever spend on a weekend getaway.
