Hotel Berna

A good hotel located a short walk to the Central station.

Negative points: the air conditioning didn't work properly (we were hot because they didn't change our room); the ceiling fan spun slower than a pinwheel; the reception staff (with rare exceptions) are rude; the room cleaning basically consists of making the bed (they didn't even remove the teacup) and to top it all off, they charged for breakfast (15 euros/person) for 3 people, even though there are only 2 of us. Positive point: Great location, 5 minutes from Milano Centrale station.

We stayed one night to catch a flight the next day. Came in by train, then took the train to the airport. Fantastic and walkable to train. Would stay again even for a longer visit.

I wanted a location within easy walking to the train station. Found Hotel Berna on a Google search. Was impressed with the ratings and location. Met and exceeded all expectations.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the abundance of lighting options and the extra touches that made the room feel both functional and inviting. The attention to detail throughout the hotel helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Combined with the outstanding service, lovely breakfast, and convenient location, this hotel was a great choice, and we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

They store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. It was a great stay with good service and a reasonable price that includes breakfast. There is a staff member at the reception who likes Korea; they are kind and understand English well.

1.5 nights in a room in the tower across from the front desk building. A staff member guided me upon check-in. The elevators were fast, the security was good, and it was great. Also, this place was more spacious, bright, and comfortable than any other hotel I stayed in in Italy. Breakfast is 15 euros per person. The freshly baked, piping hot croissants are superb. There were quite a few Koreans there. Although I couldn't stay for the full two nights due to my flight, it was a clean and nice place where I could get plenty of rest. Highly, highly, highly, highly recommended!

Our stay at Hotel Berna was wonderful. Great location, rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful,

The room was a little small for our long term, large luggage. The bathroom was a little dysfunctional with a substantially clogged shower head and leaky door. The AC was struggling when we arrived. However, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The AC was fixed on Monday and we enjoyed it for the rest of our stay. The bar happy hour was convenient and the location was great for restaurants and the train station.

Great location and really nice hotel for the area. Room was small but fine for us. The breakfast could not have been better, try the fresh carrot juice! Would highly recommend.
