Ostello Bello Grande

It was an excellent experience from the very first moment. The staff has contagious energy and is always willing to help, something you notice as soon as you arrive. The common areas are very well thought out: spacious tables, a bar, a patio with ping pong and darts, plus a very pleasant terrace to relax on at any time. During my stay, I took advantage of these spaces several times and always found a great atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, modern, and clean, as are the bathrooms. One detail I really liked was the mobile app access system, both for entering the building and using the elevators—practical and modern. A very complete option that I would choose again without hesitation.

The hostel's location is excellent, ideal for those who need to get around easily and be close to the central station. The best part of my stay was the kindness of Deivid, who served me at the breakfast bar; he was a sweetheart and so friendly! As for improvements, the room doors are quite noisy, which makes it difficult for others to sleep if you try to be quiet when coming or going. I also think the bathroom cleanliness could be improved. Aside from that, it's a good option because of its connectivity.

Great place & Great Vibe

I had a fantastic stay at Ostello Bello Grande in Milan. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless and exceptionally well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. What really stood out was how thoughtful the hostel was. They had everything we required and plenty of extra touches that made the experience even better. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home. I would highly recommend Ostello Bello Grande to anyone visiting Milan. Great atmosphere, excellent cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!

I can't give it five stars because the room was freezing, and during the summer, I don't know if they had the air conditioning on, but it was impossible to sleep at night because of the cold. The hostel is perfect if you need to work while traveling.

It's obviously a hostel concept, but security was surprisingly top-notch and made us feel very safe throughout our stay. We chose the private room for three people, basic but adequate for what we needed. Cleanliness wasn't perfect, but it was acceptable and not something we had major complaints about. The staff were the highlight of the experience: chill, attentive, friendly, and genuinely nice people. One thing to note: avoid staying here if you're a light sleeper. We could hear people doing karaoke at around 4 a.m., which might be a deal breaker for some guests. It's very close to the train station which is a plus point for us!

am writing this review based on my first-hand experience staying at this hostel. I have full photographic and video evidence of the structural and facility failures listed below.Room 1 Issues:Door Lock Failure: The room door lock failed completely, locking me out. Reception staff were unable to open it normally and had to use physical force to open the door. This presents a serious life-safety hazard in the event of an emergency evacuation.Lack of Privacy: The shared bathroom relied on a basic hook-and-eye latch rather than a secure privacy lock, leaving guests exposed.Disruption: Due to the broken lock mechanisms, multiple guests were locked out, resulting in loud disturbances and door-banging throughout the night.Room 2 Issues (Assigned as a solution):Privacy Failure: The bathroom in the second room also used an identical hook-and-eye latch, which resulted in a complete lack of privacy.Room Security: During the night, an unauthorized individual was directed or allowed into my occupied room, claiming she had been assigned to a bed that was already booked.Substandard Facilities: The individual bed light failed to turn off, the mirror was taped over with black tape, and groups of individuals were knocking on doors during the night without staff intervention.Moving a guest between rooms with identical structural security and privacy issues is not an acceptable resolution. I have officially requested a full refund from management for services not rendered. I strongly advise travellers to look elsewhere if they expect basic room security and functioning privacy locks.

Location was perfect- very near to Milano Centrale. And the vibe at Ostello is fantastic. I really loved the place and the atmosphere

The only problem is construction noise which is near property. I couldn't sleep all the night.🫨

Great accommodation, everything clean, bar and lounge!
