About this place Metrò Sauna

Sauna Metro is one of Milan's main gay men's saunas, a few minutes' walk from Milano Centrale station on Via Schiaparelli. It's a men-only cruising sauna, not a mixed club, despite what some older listings said. Facilities include a steam room, dry sauna, whirlpool, a bar area, private cabins and darker cruising zones spread over several levels. It draws a mix of locals and travellers, and the station location makes it easy to visit on arrival or departure days. Bring ID, use the lockers for valuables, and carry or ask for condoms. Prices and themed nights vary by day, so check the website for current hours and entry fees.

While in Milan, we were looking for a gay sauna to relax at the end of the day. Since it was near the train station, we went to Metro Sauna. What a disappointment the reception was! After making us wait quite a while, a young man finally came to greet us. We asked for two tickets, but he explained that we had to buy a pass in addition to the entrance fee. His explanation was difficult to understand, as he was talking to us while busy with something else, which was particularly unpleasant. Since we were only there for the day, there was no point in buying this pass. Given this unfriendly and unwelcoming reception, we decided to leave.

Hi, I wanted to know if it's still open, what are the opening hours? And what's the price for my Arco card? Or a single entry?

Nice sauna, frequented mostly by older people and, of course, those who love this type of sauna. There's no shortage of young people hanging out with young people either. The 10-entry pass is convenient. Sunday, May 31st, at the buffet, a shady character scolded me for using my hands to pick up a slice of cake, saying it needed hygiene... then he entered the tub, where lots of people piss and do everything and more... Long live hygiene... Saturday, June 13th... empty changing rooms, tub with three people in it. Is it better to charge half price and have the sauna full of people? Or is it better to ask for 24 euros and watch the sauna empty? Be careful, you'll close it down in the long run!

We always have great encounters, and the massage service is always excellent. Luca, one of the masseurs, knows exactly where to relax and knows how to make those who want to relax feel good, while also giving them a massage that revitalizes them after a busy day at work. I really like the sauna and adjacent Turkish bath, and the products on display at the bar are excellent.

The sauna is ideally located near the central train station. It was quite busy on a Sunday evening, with a clientele mostly over 40. The place is rather small, without a proper cruising area, so you tend to wander around a bit. Some of the facilities could use a little updating: when I went, only two showers were working, and it's easy to burn your legs on the steam room's heating vents when it's full (which happens often, given its small size).
