Just loved this hotel from the moment we checked in til the sad second when we left. Very interesting, unusual, quirky, great lady on reception looked after the 3 of us exceptionally well. If you like different, book it today, if you don’t, get a life!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay at Hotel Barrett for three nights. Every staff member was so kind and friendly, and we were gifted multiple treats by our hosts. In addition, there was plentiful food already in the room’s fridge that made for great snacks and breakfast. The location was also great for us and we took the 85 and 87 bus lines many times to reach points of interest. The stop is right outside of the hotel so it was perfect for us. The walls are a bit thin, so if you have noisy neighbors it may be hard to sleep, but that is likely a feature of most hotels in this area of Rome. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.

A fantastically unique little gem! We had a great time and the only negative was that we only stayed one night. The location was really optimal, in the middle of everything. Even though we had a window facing the ruins, we were not disturbed by the street noise from outside. A little sensitive to the corridor, but that's nothing that bothered us. The breakfast had everything possible to offer, from biscuits to bread with different toppings, sausages and so on. However, a bit sparse with gluten-free bread (only corn cakes), but there was yogurt and the like instead. Massage cushion in the room and spacious bathroom, perfect after a day trip in the city. It might be good to know that the hotel is two floors up, but on the other hand, you shouldn't pack more than you can carry ;)

We stayed here a couple nights and it was perfect. Location was perfect. Staff were so nice and treated you like family the minute you arrived. Rooms were clean and they provided you with so many food options you could make in your room. We really enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again next time we visit. Highly recommend!
