Gay Center

Gay Center is one of Rome's key LGBTQ+ hubs, based in Testaccio at Via Nicola Zabaglia 14. Founded in 2005, it works as an umbrella that hosts several associations under one roof and runs the national Gay Help Line (800 713 713), a free anti-homophobia and anti-transphobia support line. The centre also coordinates the Refuge LGBT shelter programme for young people rejected by their families, alongside cultural, social and health activities. It shares its address with Arcigay Roma.
