Grotthuss Hotel

The location is good, but everything else is terrible. Room cleaning is practically nonexistent, and if you return late and find the room uncleaned, you call (because there's no one at reception in the afternoon) and they completely ignore you. They even treat you like a liar the next day and demand photos of the room to prove you're telling the truth—it's a disgrace. It's on the third floor with no elevator. Four stars is a huge exaggeration.

A truly charming boutique stay in the heart of Vilnius. The location is exceptional, perfect for exploring the old town on foot. The breakfasts were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the staff genuinely kind and welcoming. A place with character, warmth, and attention to detail—highly recommended.

Very nice hotel in the good location. 10-15min walk from Train and Bus stations. Reasonable price. Comfortable, clean and silent room. Free breakfast option for booking genius level members. Breakfast was very good and tasty. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will choose Grotthuss Hotel in future visits. Recommended!

Perfect location in the old town of Vilnius. Very spacious and cosy rooms. Big bathroom with floor heating that’s very practical and pleasant. Delicious breakfast options. Nice coffee.

Perfect hotel just need to pay attention to hot water late in the evening,, no hot water to shower

Clean hotel in a good location. Breakfast quite varied and sufficient for us. Good room with a bathtub. The only minus was the very strong smell in the lobby.

If you love a more modern hotel choose Artagonist Art hotel, if you like the fresh clean old style choose this one. I love both. You can buy a folkloric symbolic mask to ward off impurities here. It is a nice friendly clean hotel at a good price

Thanks for everything!!! I was probably the most annoying guest they had to deal with that week :) Asked to change my room, asked for separate duvets, asked them to print something out for me, was late for breakfast - THEY HANDLED IT ALL WITH PROFESSIONALISM.

Good hotel, good location, great breakfast.

We visited the hotel in mid-October for five days and it was a complete pleasure. We were given room 306 with a balcony facing the hotel's picturesque courtyard (there are only 2 such rooms, 306 and 307). Quiet and luxurious atmosphere with a design motif of a hotel from the early 19th century, even though the hotel is only 25 years old. Amazing breakfast and for us vegetarians, there was a rich and delicious selection. Polite reception staff who responded to every request. The quiet location is very close and within walking distance to all tourist destinations and even the train station for day trips to Kaunas or the castle on Trakai Island. Good value for money. I really enjoyed this place. We had a beautiful, cozy, clean, and comfortable room. The room had a kettle with cups, a couple of tea bags, and bottles of water — a very nice touch. The bedding and blankets were soft and cozy, the mattress was comfortable, and it was easy to sleep well. The hotel serves delicious breakfasts and has a lovely dining hall with a terrace, which in the evening turns into a charming café with live jazz music. The location is close to the center yet quiet, with many attractions on the nearby streets. On the same street, there are a couple of authentic shops with French cheese and plants. The service was very pleasant and calm. We could also leave our luggage there, which was very convenient. Overall, a great place — I really liked it. Thank you, I’d love to come back again.
