Hotel The Rose by Goeres
Visitors praise the hotel's updated, nicely decorated rooms and kind staff, with some appreciating the nostalgic feel of the renovated building. However, a significant complaint is the lack of soundproofing, leading to disturbances from neighbors, and some mention issues with slippery exterior floors and reversed water flow in bathrooms. Parking is also noted as being expensive.

This is a wonderfully updated 'hotel' (mini apartment setup) with nice rooms and location. Unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof at all and you can hear the neighbors every footstep. During my stay I was woken up about midnight every night when the neighbor came home - so I'd warn you to be ready for that.
Why just 4 Stars? I think the hotel is nicely decorated. Restaurant is fine and staff is really kind. parking unfortunalety very expensive with 30€ / night but better as getting fined. but the main key point for us was the missing sound barriere in the rooms. we had the result of a rough night :-(. sure the hotel staff is really helpful but it wont rescue the missing sleep. result: would we come again? i think yes as we belive it is a really good hotel BUT we really hope that there will be a solution in the sound barrier as we believe are not the first people reporting this.
The old building has been renovated and converted into a hotel. Suitable for those who want to experience nostalgia. There is no elevator. The room I stayed in was very ornate and colorfully furnished. The showers and bathrooms have been renovated. The exterior floor is very slippery. The water flow is reversed, it collects in front of the bathroom, so you step into the water when using the toilet. The rooms and beds are very clean.
