About this place The St. George's Park Hotel Paceville

The St. George's Park Hotel is a large mainstream hotel on Dragonara Road in Paceville, St Julian's, Malta's main nightclub district. It offers basic rooms and apartments, breakfast and two outdoor pools. It is tagged gay-friendly, not a gay venue. Know before you book: Google reviews are weak, about 2.8 from more than 2,600, with recurring complaints typical of budget party-zone hotels. Its strengths are price and location, steps from Paceville's clubs and a short walk to Spinola Bay. Expect noise late at night, particularly at weekends in summer. Malta has strong LGBTQ+ legal protections, and St Julian's has a few gay-friendly bars.

A disastrous experience, absolutely avoidable. This hotel managed to turn a vacation in Malta into an extremely disappointing one. The property is old, neglected, and in need of a complete renovation. The room was in far below-expected condition: insufficiently cleaned, dated furnishings, and several signs of poor maintenance. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi was virtually nonexistent or unusable, making it impossible to surf the internet. Furthermore, the room didn't even have a refrigerator, an essential service, especially during a summer stay with high temperatures. The noise was constant day and night: shouting, loud music, and constant shouting from both inside and outside the property. Sleeping was almost impossible. Despite complaints, I found no one particularly willing to resolve the issues. The photos posted online don't do justice to the reality I found. The value for money is terrible, and after this experience, I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. 1 star out of 5, and only because it's impossible to give zero. One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

The Spanish girl at reception is rude and speaks badly to people. We were on our end-of-year trip and she lost important papers, and every time we spoke to her she treated us badly and rudely.
