OK 3-star hotel. The hotel was larger than expected. There is a reception in each tower. The hotel is worn, but seems clean. However, noise is very clear from the hallway. Friendly staff. Their vending machines in both towers need maintenance and refilling. Breakfast is very basic, but if they had some fruit, for example tropical, it could lift it a bit. There is a rooftop pool and room for luggage. Rated the hotel based on it being 3 stars. Good price.

We enjoyed our week here. Hotel has lots of restaurants nearby and is central. We used the buses to get around. Our sea view room was spacious, with a nice balcony. We used the rooftop pool, loungers and bar regularly and it was welcome after we had been sightseeing. Breakfast was plentiful and all the staff were friendly. We liked Sliema.

The room was amazing, we stayed in a studio room on floor 7 with a sea view. Room was much larger than expected, huge bathroom with bath and separate shower, the view was just stunning over the bay. Hotel staff were lovely and friendly, everyone said hello when we passed them. Bus stop is right outside, Peppi’s right across the road. And a couple of shops to buy essentials close by.

TL;DR: Zero soundproofing, dirty sheets, deafening club music until 2 AM, and they refused to refund my second night. Avoid this place at all costs! An absolute nightmare. For our first night, we were put in a room right next to the lift, facing away from the sea. The soundproofing was absolutely terrible—we could hear every single person walking by and the constant noise of the lift. On top of that, the Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak, the bathroom exhaust fan was insanely loud, there were stains on the bedsheets, and one of the lights in the room kept flickering. After we complained to the manager, we were moved to a new room for the second night. It was indeed a bit cleaner (even though there was a used dental floss pick left on the bathroom floor from the previous guest). But oh-la-la, this room faced the street, and the shop downstairs (or across the harbour, we don’t know) was blasting loud music until 2 AM!!! The whole building was literally vibrating. To top it all off, they flat-out refused to let me cancel my second night and get a refund, even though Booking.com explicitly said it was fine. Absolutely DO NOT recommend! I know some of you might think, "Well, it's a budget hotel," but guys, it's really NOT. This place is worth €50 a night at best, but I paid €120 a night when I booked it. For just €10-€20 more a night somewhere else, the difference in quality is night and day. (Side note: There was no drinking water or tissues provided in the room. And I almost forgot—the shampoo was literally watered down! I know for a fact it was watered down because the one on the first day wasn't, and the difference was painfully obvious.)
