Cockring on Warmoesstraat is Amsterdam's alternative to the mainstream Reguliersdwarsstraat club scene — a darker, more fetish-adjacent nightclub that has been operating in the leather quarter for decades. The venue has a dancefloor with good sound, a darkroom, and an atmosphere that is more sexually charged than the large-production commercial clubs. The crowd is a mix of leather community regulars, bear-identified men, and visitors who prefer their clubbing with less pop music and more bass. Cockring runs later than most Amsterdam clubs and is at its best in the early morning hours. During Leather Pride week in October, it is one of the central venues for the fetish community's evening programme. The Warmoesstraat location means it is within walking distance of Argos, Dirty Dicks, and Café 't Mandje — a natural part of a night that begins in the leather bars and ends on the dancefloor.
